The energy was already there. The website needed to catch up.

iThink Big has been running motivational assemblies in schools since 2000 — a loud, live, deeply human hour in a gym full of students. The website had to carry that into a browser, and then make the next step obvious: book an assembly.

Three phone screens from the iThink Big site — the video hero, a school leader's testimonial and the founder's profile — over a hall of students watching an assembly.

The site as most people meet it: on a phone, about a room like this one.

A live program, flattened into a web page.

01

The experience wasn't coming through

What happens in the room is music, story and a few hundred students paying complete attention. Written down as paragraphs on a conventional education site, it becomes a description of an assembly rather than a reason to book one.

02

Several audiences, one page

Principals, teachers, parents, youth pastors and partner organizations arrive with different questions, and none of them read the whole site. Each needed their answer within a screen or two of landing.

03

Decisions get made on a phone

School leaders look this up between classes, standing in a hallway. A site that only works on a desktop is a site that gets closed and forgotten.

Don't explain the energy.Show it.

The decision that shaped everything else: lead with footage from real assemblies, not a photograph of a building. The headline and the booking button sit over the room itself, so nothing has to describe the atmosphere.

Everything under it is disciplined — one action repeated down the page, contrast held over moving video, visible focus states, motion that respects a reduced-motion setting. Programs, references, team and the work in Mexico each get their own place rather than a paragraph at the bottom.

The iThink Big homepage on a laptop and a phone, with footage of a live assembly behind the headline.
Desktop and mobile share one hierarchy: what it is, who it’s for, and how to book.

What it delivered.

  • 01

A site that feels like the room

Real assembly footage leads, so the tone is set before anyone reads a word.

  • 02

    One obvious next step

Book an Assembly is the only primary action, repeated as the page moves and pinned within reach on mobile.

  • 03

    Legible over video, and keyboard-friendly

Controlled contrast over moving footage, visible focus states, and motion that respects a reduced-motion setting.

  • 04

    Room to grow

Programs, references, team and the Mexico work each have a home, so the site can expand without a redesign.
